The Inventory module is a central place for managing your school’s stores. It lets you manage store items and allows employees to raise indents whenever they need items.

Key functions

  • Store management – add and organise stores.
  • Item management – manage the items held in each store.
  • Indents – employees submit requests for the items they need.
  • Purchase orders – create purchase orders to buy items from suppliers.
  • Goods Received Notes (GRN) – record items received from suppliers.

Together, these features streamline procurement: employees request items through indents, which can then lead to purchase orders and be tracked through goods received notes.

Tip: For the full sequence of steps, see Inventory workflow.
