About Custom Import
Import employee, student, library and store data into myschool in bulk using CSV files.
The Custom Import module lets your school import employee, student and institutional data into myschool using CSV (comma-separated values) files. It removes the need for manual data entry, reduces errors and keeps your records more accurate.
When SMS settings are enabled in myschool, a custom import automatically sends an SMS notification to the users whose data is being imported.
Access and permissions
Admins and employees with the Custom import privilege can perform a custom import. To open it, go to Menu → Data and Reports → Custom Imports.
Data you can import
- Employee admission details (including salary structure, additional details, bank details and employee privileges)
- Student admission details (including additional details)
- Student guardian details
- Student attendance (daily attendance type only)
- Student exam scores
- Library book details (including additional details and book tags)
- Store item details
- Item supplier details
- Store details
Note: Student roll numbers cannot currently be imported with Custom Import.
