What is the difference between activity, attribute and skill-based exams?
How activities, attributes and skill sets differ in the Gradebook, and where each one appears in reports.
Activities
Activities are co-scholastic programs conducted in schools to evaluate a student’s overall development — for example, extracurricular activities such as crafts, music and dance, or personal traits such as discipline and cleanliness.
An activity profile is added as a separate activity exam in the gradebook planner and is displayed in the gradebook/report card. Activities are generally evaluated using grades only.

Attributes
Attributes are the parameters or criteria from which a subject’s total mark is calculated. For example, if a subject’s total is the sum of the worksheets, homework and records submitted during the term, you can create an attribute profile with these attributes and link it to the subject.
When creating exams for such subjects, set the exam as an attribute-based exam; teachers can then enter a mark for each attribute. Attributes appear only in the exam report, not in the term or planner report.

Skill sets
Skill sets are the factors used to evaluate knowledge of a subject — for example, writing, reading and vocabulary.
Skill sets are linked to a subject when the subject is created, and they are displayed in the gradebook.
