Set the roll number prefix for a course

Before assigning student roll numbers, you can set a roll number prefix for a course. The prefix is applied automatically to all batches under that course and to all students in each batch. The prefix can contain up to six alphanumeric characters.

At the top of your dashboard, click Menu → Administration → Settings → Manage Student Roll Numbers to open the Manage roll number page.

1. Click Set roll number prefix beside a course.

2. Enter the roll number prefix.
3. Click Save.
