Which values can roll numbers be generated by?

Students can be sorted by Admission no., First Name or Last Name. Roll numbers are then assigned to all students of each batch based on this sort order.

You can change the sort order at any time. If you change it after assigning roll numbers, students are re-arranged according to the new sort order, but their assigned roll numbers stay the same.

Set the sort order

1. At the top of your dashboard, click Menu → Administration → Settings → Manage Student Roll Numbers to open the Manage roll number page.

This page is shown only the first time you set the student sort order.

2. Select the student sort order.

3. Click Save.
