I can't delete a course: "Unable to delete class/course. Please remove existing batches and students"

This message means the course still has linked data:

• To delete a course: first delete every batch created inside it.
• To delete a batch: first delete every student enrolled in it.

When deleting students

If a student has linked data — such as elective subjects or finance records — a message lists these dependencies.

You can then force the deletion by clicking the click here link in the message.
