About the Hostel module
An overview of the Hostel module: hostels, rooms, wardens, room allocation and hostel fee collection.
The Hostel module helps your institution manage everything related to running its hostels efficiently. You can record details about each hostel and its rooms, and manage room allocations.
Students can be given hostel accommodation based on room availability. When recording hostel details, you can add custom fields to capture any additional information your institution needs. After allocating students to a hostel, you can schedule fee collections and collect hostel fees.
With the Hostel module you can record:
- The type of each hostel
- The hostel warden(s)
- The number of rooms in each hostel
- The number of students each room can accommodate
- The rent each student pays for a room
In addition to the default fields, you can add your own custom fields for hostels and rooms.
